FAQ
How do I add items quickly?
Use QuickList for name + count only, or voice dictation. Say '12 boxes of tiles, 8 each' and the app fills the fields. For bulk add, use Import from sheet (CSV).
Voice isn't working on my laptop.
Allow microphone access when prompted. On Safari/Mac, enable Dictation in System Settings → Keyboard. Chrome should work after granting mic permission.
Can I import from Excel or Google Sheets?
CSV is supported now. Map your columns to ACount fields. Excel (.xlsx) and Google Sheets are planned.
How do I share my inventory?
Copy the project link from the share menu. Anyone with the link can view (or edit if they have admin access). Export PDF/CSV to send a snapshot.
What's the difference between QuickList and Inventory?
QuickList is a lightweight checklist — name and count. Inventory is full tracking with category, units, photos, manufacturer, and more.
Can I use QR codes for scanning?
Yes. Each item has a QR code. Generate it on the item page, download as PNG, and print labels. Scanning opens the item page.
Is there an offline mode?
Offline support (PWA) is planned. For now, you need a connection to sync.
